Reinhold Alfréd (Alfred Reynolds) angol író és magyar költő fölfedezettjeként és tanítványaként,[7] első nagy sikerű esszékötetét 1956-ban jelentette meg The Outsider (Az Idegen) címmel Reinhold Pilate's Questions című esszékötetére való válaszadásképpen.
