Deutsch: Flagge des Landesteils Mecklenburg von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern . Der Landesteil Mecklenburg führt die Farben fort, die das historische Land Mecklenburg führte, ursprünglich festgelegt durch den Herzog von Mecklenburg-Schwerin am 26. März 1813.

In den Landesteilen Mecklenburg und Vorpommern können zusätzlich die traditionellen Farben und Flaggen geführt werden. [1]

Die Flagge des Landesteils Mecklenburg […] ist gleichmäßig längsgestreift von Ultramarinblau, Gelb und Zinnoberrot. Die Flagge des Landesteils Vorpommern ist gleichmäßig längsgestreift von Blau und Weiß […]. Auf den Flaggen der Landesteile stehen keine Wappenbilder und auch keine Wappen. [2]
English: Flag of the Mecklenburg part of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The Mecklenburg part of the state continues to use the colours of the former state of Mecklenburg, originally determined 26 March 1813 by the grand duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin.

In the Mecklenburg and Vorpommern parts of the state the traditional colours and flags can be used.[1]

The flag of the Mecklenburg part is evenly lengthwise striped of ultramarine blue, yellow and vermillion. The flag of the Vorpommern part is evenly lengthwise striped of blue and white. There are no heraldic figures and no coats of arms on the flags of the parts of the state.[2]
