Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Potrivit anexei nr. 1.4, stema comunei Mãierus se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular de argint, cu marginile rotunjite, având în vârful scutului un câmp albastru, separat de o linie undatã. În centrul scutului se aflã doi ursi negri afrontati, iesind din linia undatã si tinând un alun verde cu fructe naturale. În vârful scutului se aflã un semn în formã undatã, de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroanã muralã de argint, cu un turn crenelat. Semnificatiile elementelor însumate: Alunul se regãseste în sigiliul comunei din anul 1791. Semnul undat - litera N - reprezintã marca juridicã de odinioarã a comunei Mãierus, provenind de la vechea denumire a localitãtii Nuβbach. Ursii simbolizeazã bogãtia cinegeticã a zonei, iar numãrul de ursi semnificã numãrul satelor care alcãtuiesc comuna. Vârful scutului tãiat de o linie undatã reprezintã râul Olt care strãbate localitatea. Coroana muralã cu un turn crenelat semnificã faptul cã localitatea are rangul de comunã.
