A metanoia (görög μετάνοια, metanoia) a szövegkörnyezettől függően más és más jelentésű: jelentésbeli vagy gondolati fordulat, korrekció, helyesbítés, véleményváltoztatás, megváltozás, megtérés, konverzió, életátgondolás, a gondolkodás megváltozása, a gondolkodásmód átalakítása, átfordulás, átalakulás.^[1]^[2]
