Bishop was remembered for his deadpan comic delivery and for his skill at ad-libbing; he was also credited with writing much of the material when the group headlined together at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas. He appeared with the Rat Pack in the films Ocean’s Eleven (1960) and Sergeants Three (1962).
