:::@[[Szerkesztő:Whatamidoing (WMF)|Whatamidoing (WMF)]] the community feedback in [[Wikipédia:Kocsmafal (javaslatok)#Újmegbeszélés-eszköz alapértelmezetté tétele|Tacsipacsi's discussion]] shows me what I told you at the beginning of the development: without the special character tool, the Reply/New discussion tools have only limited functionality on the Hungarian Wikipedia, therefore significant part of the editors will not and do not want to use. Some editors requested not only the special character tool, but the whole toolbar which is available in the (old) source code editor. I personally prefer to have the frequently used characters (about 10 characters) highlighted (very easily accessible) so we do not need to find one character always in a submenu between hundreds of other characters --- it could be a static list of characters as it is now below the source code editor, but ideally this could be a dynamic list for each user from the recently used characters. Maybe, this a good time to prioritize the deployment of https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T249072. What do you think? ::::Are the frequently used characters the ones in [[MediaWiki:Visualeditor-quick-access-characters.json]]? I expect that the first attempt at adding a special character menu will mimic what's seen in the visual editor.
