Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2006. Eight nations are participating in RIMPAC, the world's largest biennial maritime exercise. Conducted in the waters off Hawaii, RIMPAC brings together military forces from Australia, Canada, Chile, Peru, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States. "This is a World Wide Web site for official information about the United States Navy. It is provided as a public service by the Naval Media Center. The purpose is to provide information and news about the U.S. Navy to the general public. "All information on this site is public domain and may be distributed or copied unless otherwise specified.
