Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Ernei, potrivit anexei nr. 1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, despicat.

În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp argintiu, se află un pepene de aur pe o frunză verde.

În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află o barză de argint.

În vârful scutului, în câmp verde, se află un disc cu motiv solar de aur si o seceră de argint.

Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificatiile elementelor însumate

Fondul de argint reprezintă apa râului Mures, care mărgineste comuna.

Pepenele galben (Cucumis melo) face referire la ocupatia traditională a locuitorilor.

Barza (simbol al stabilitătii si devotiunii familiale) reprezintă pasărea ocrotită în zonă.

Discul si secera semnifică valoroasele vestigii arheologice din epoca bronzului, descoperite pe teritoriul localitătii.

Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
