Összefoglaló

Leírás
English: Moller & Co's ore carrier Cedar Trader. Götaverken of Gothenburg, Sweden built her in 1929 as the 8,038 GRT oil tanker Sandefjord for Viriks Rederi of Sandefjord, Norway. In 1937 Sigurd Herlofson & Co bought her and renamed her Herbjørn. In 1941 the German cruiser Admiral Scheer captured her and put a prize crew aboard. Admiral Scheer and the auxiliary cruiser Thor used Herbjørn to send more than 200 prisoners to Bordeaux. Herbjørn was renamed Monsun and registered in Germany. In 1943 an RAF bombing raid on Nantes set her afire and afterwards she was scuttled as a blockship.
In 1945 Monsun was raised and repaired. In 1946 she joined the fleet of Societe Anonyme Courtage et Transports of Le Havre and was renamed Briére. In 1954 she was bought by Transoceanic Transport Co of Liberia and renamed Cape Mount. In 1955 Trader Line of Bermuda bought her and renamed her Cedar Trader. She was converted into an ore carrier, registered in London and Moller & Co of Hong Kong was appointed to manage her. In May 1964 she was laid up in Hong Kong and in September Typhoon "Ruby" drove her ashore and damaged her. In October she was refloated and in 1965 she was scrapped.
