Ezen írások szerzőségét illetően fililógiailag elég nehéz eldönteni, hogy az egyes szövegek létrejöttében Howard Phillips Lovecraft milyen jellegű és mekkora szerepet játszott. Ezen írások közül kettő szöveg került be a magyar összkiadásba, de kizárólag Lovecraft neve alatt: Eryx falai között (Kenneth Sterlinggel közösen írta), Az ezüstkulcs kapuin át (E. Hoffmann Price-szal közösen írta), valamint az Árnyék az időn túlról, melyet August Derleth fejezett be Lovecreft halála után. A kollaborációk közül magyarul olvasható még a Harry Houdini álnéven megjelent A fáraók börtönében című novella.
